Founded by Scientific American, the first Issue of American Homes and Gardens ™ was published in July of 1905 by Munn & Company Publishers in New York, NY. The early editions are historical works. Today, the magazine is primarily a digital publication on web. Limited quantities of the traditional magazine are printed for special events.
